This is a polemical game underlining the collaboration and conflict between school kids and guardians in China. The traditional view of Chinese guardians is to foster children to be model citizens with good ethics, academics and enrichment, which is also called the “Three Merit Values 三好”. However, younger generations usually have independent ideas about the balance of schooling and hobbies. Through this game, players can play the alternative roles and think from the other generation’s perspectives. This game aims for a better understanding of each other.
Players will draw character brochures and play the roles that they are assigned, draw event cards each round and respond. Such different choices will lead to different credits in the Three Merit Values.
