A digital recreation of the old Chinese traditional painting Dwelling in the Fuchun Mountains by Huang Gongwang.Past artifacts survived in museums and exhibitions, but they will never revive unless they are becoming part of today’s culture and lifestyles. Therefore, recreation with digital models and animation could be a possible way to make this topic more approachable to the public. The original painting was made between 1348 and 1350, while it was burnt into two pieces in 1650.
